We have partnered with The Women’s Tour of Scotland, taking place on the 9-11 August, hydrating and fuelling all the cyclists with our protein water and electrolyte water throughout the event.
We will also be taking part in the Tour’s cycling festival in Holyrood Park for the final day of the race on the Sunday 11 August. Organisers want people to come and enjoy all the action, with a number of cycling activities for friends and families to get involved.
Cycling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities will be able to ride round the same 5.5km lap of Holyrood Park that the professionals take on three times. There will also be various challenges for people to enjoy throughout the day, including an outdoor mini velodrome and a sprint hill for the more competitive cyclists!
Jack Royle, Head of Partnerships for the Women’s Tour of Scotland: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with WOW HYDRATE. Their ethos around sustainable products fits perfectly with our ambition to become the first climate positive sports event by 2020. Already we have been able to demonstrate our focus around this with the production of our race jerseys made from recycled plastic bottles and it’s great to be able to further highlight this with a nutrition partner in Wow Hydrate who focus a huge part of their production on reducing plastic waste.”
It's fantastic for us to be partnering with the Women’s Tour of Scotland. The event has some challenging stages for the riders and providing hydration drinks to the participants throughout the tour is something that as a business we will be proud of. Good luck to all the riders who are taking part.
The race route includes visits to Dunfermline, Glasgow and Perth among many other Scottish towns before the day’s final stage which will start and finish in Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park on 11 August. For more information visit womenstourofscotland.com.
