Homemade Protein Flapjacks
2 medium Fairtrade bananas
150g Organic ground oats
25g Organic sunflower seeds
30g Organic pumpkin seeds
30g Organic raisins
30g Organic walnuts (roughly chopped)
pinch of Sea salt
180g Organic smooth peanut butter or Nut Butter of your choice
5 tbsp Canadian maple syrup
3 tbsp Organic coconut oil
1 tbsp Organic Oatly Milk
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 7” x 7” baking tin with parchment paper including sides.
Peel the bananas, pop them in a mixing bowl and smash them with a fork until they soft.
Add the oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins and walnuts to the mixing bowl.
Pop the peanut butter, maple syrup and coconut oil to a small pan on a low heat, stir Stir until melted.
Pour this liquid over dry ingredients in mixing bowl and stir are fully incorporated.
Transfer the mix to the pre-lined baking tin and use a spreading knife to level the mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes without touching and a further 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
This recipe can be up scaled to make larger quantities. Wrap in Clingfilm and keep in fridge until needed.
